Cultural Trail of Tauranga We arrive at ‘Oropi’ on the outskirts of Tauranga. Set amidst serene landscape, you will experience a ‘powhiri’ – welcome ceremony before enjoying a ‘short nature walk’ through native flora and fauna whilst receiving a commentary about the Legend of Mauao, connected to this specific area, from your Indigenous Trails’ Guide.
