Description
Today you will be met by your hosts for the day to embark on full day tour of 'Upolu Island' taking in many of the wonderful sites along the way.
Your first stop will be at the 'Robert Louis Stevensons' Museum where you can take in the guided tour and find out how the famous Scottish author fitted into Samoan Life and indeed history.
We then move onto the Bahaii Temple' situated on the hills overlooking Apia. Here you can visit the spectacular Temple and share the peace and tranquility that 'Tiapapata' offers. Once we leave the temple we move on out of Apia towards the South Coast.
We stop at 'Papapapaitai Waterfall' on the way to the South Coast Road. We then take a drive through the numerous Samoan Villages along the way where you will have the opportunity to see the traditional 'fales' and the traditional way of life as it is today.
The next stop along the way is at 'Sopoaga Waterfall' where you will see a spectacular '180 foot waterfall' along with gardens and weather permitting a demonstration of the traditional skills of 'husking coconuts' and extracting the 'coconut cream'.
It's then off to 'Lalomanu Beach' for lunch and a chance for snorkeling or taking in a few rays. We then have a drive back along the east coast arriving at the local markets with a chance to shop before being delivered back to the pier.
