Indigenous Trails will pick you up from your accommodation and start your day with some action packed adrenalin pumping adventure.
You will get to fly 100m through the air at 130kph towards the earth with the SWOOP, then speed along in a 450-horsepower, jet-propelled '13-foot Race Boat' that delivers up to 100kph in 4.5 seconds! It is New Zealand’s fastest jet-boating experience by far!
Finish this adventure experience off by taking the plunge with a 'BUNGY! Jump', solo or tandem, from a purpose built 43m bungy tower and experience the incredible rush of bungy jumping.
Following this we will then drive from 'Rotorua' to a place called 'Ngakuru' which is situated on the banks of New Zealand’s longest river, the mighty 'Waikato'. Here you take a '3 hour cruise' along the river.
The cruise can include a dip into a hot water pool that is actually within the river, you will also get to view a geothermal area.
During the tour you will hear commentary about the river and enjoy an on-board 'BBQ lunch' there may even be time for some trout fishing.
Upon arrival back in Rotorua you will then get to see New Zealand’s icon flightless bird the 'Kiwi'. We end the day with a spine tingling 'Maori performance' including 'dance', 'song', 'weaponry exhibitions', 'nature walk'.
See Maori warriors arrive in their war canoe, and then be entertained in authentic surroundings by Rotorua’s most exciting interactive 'Maori Cultural Show'. A Maori 'feast hangi' is provided for dinner before the evening finishes with a 'short bush walk' to visit the crystal clear water springs where you will see trout and eels swimming you will also capture glimpses of 'glow worms' along the way.
